A wide-eyed girl with a chin-length brown bob gazes out from a soft sky blue background, a large yellow flower perched on top of her head. Her round white eyes, spiky lashes, slim nose and full red lips give her a startled, slightly comic expression, and the words "oh no" are written in small black letters beside her. A cream collared top rests at the bottom of the frame, keeping the composition simple and centered.
The paint is built up thick and raised, with sculpted swirls of brown and cream in the hair, plump petals in buttery yellow and chunky knife strokes across the shirt. Thin dark outlines trace each shape, giving the piece a playful cartoon quality, while the textured blue ground adds depth and movement. It brings humor and cheerful color to a living room, entryway or kids room.
