This square canvas is built from thick, raised white texture swept into concentric rings that spiral outward from a small, softly mottled center. Each ring carries visible drag marks from a broad tool, so the surface reads like carved snow or a ripple frozen in place. Crumbly ridges and small peaks catch the light along the edges of every pass.
The palette stays entirely white, which lets shadow and relief do the work. In daylight the grooves deepen and the circles seem to turn slowly, and in softer light the piece settles into a calm, almost meditative presence. It suits an entryway, a living room or any organic modern interior that favors quiet texture over color. Shown here in a slim gold frame.
