A slender column of carved alabaster, this pendant hangs quietly when unlit, showing a pale, matte surface. Switch it on and the light passes through the stone walls, revealing the veining, cloudy passages and depth of color from within. Because each one is carved from natural stone, no two pendants share the same pattern.
The stone takes on the color of the lamp inside it. A warm white LED at 2700K brings out honey and cream tones and softens the veins, while cool white gives a grayer, chalkier look. Both are offered, though warm light suits this piece best. The glow is soft and even, meant for ambient and accent lighting, so pair it with task lighting over a kitchen island.
The shorter size works beside a bed in place of a table lamp, or in a narrow hallway. Hang it a little above shoulder height when seated. The taller size has more presence over a dining table or island, where two to five can run in a line or a loose cluster, with the bottom 30 to 35 in (75 to 90 cm) above the surface.

Care
Turn the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust with a soft, dry cloth only. Alabaster is porous and marks easily, so keep water and cleaning products away from the stone.
