This semi-flush ceiling light pairs a thick, sculpted shade of solid Spanish alabaster with solid brass hardware in an antiqued finish. Alabaster is a soft, translucent natural stone with dense veining, so each shade carries its own pattern. Once lit, the whole stone glows and the veins come forward, casting a gentle ambient light with very little glare.
The heavy-gauge brass has a warm, hand-patinated tone that sits comfortably beside the stone. Warm white bulbs at 2700K are recommended, since alabaster picks up the color of its light source. Warm light keeps the stone honeyed and the veining legible, while cooler bulbs tend to flatten it to a chalky gray. Because the glow is diffuse, plan on separate task lighting above a kitchen island or a desk.

Care
Turn the fixture off and allow the bulbs to cool before cleaning. The stone is soft and porous, so moisture can leave marks. Use only a dry, soft cloth on the alabaster, with no water or cleaning products. Treat the brass the same way and skip metal polish.

4. Customer Confirmation of DimensionsThe customer is solely responsible for ensuring all dimensions and specifications are accurate before finalizing an order.
- You must confirm that the furniture will fit through doorways, hallways, and elevators.
- Once a custom order is confirmed and production begins, changes to dimensions cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
- Marcelina Furniture Studio is not liable for items that do not fit the intended space due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
