A ribbed amber glass dome sits within a frame of solid copper rods, held in place like a lantern against the wall. When lit, the ribbing breaks the glow into fine vertical shadows that spread across the surface on each side of the glass.
The copper carries an antique finish, and each dome is hand-blown, so the depth of the amber and the character of the ribs differ slightly from one sconce to the next. Its tall, narrow profile reads well on a hallway or stair wall, in a dining room or beside a bar, anywhere the shadow pattern has room to show. It can be hung as a pair or repeated along a longer wall.
