Because each globe is cut from natural stone, the veining and translucency differ between the pair and from one fixture to the next. With the lights off, the brass holds a warm tone against the pale alabaster.
At just 6 inches tall, it fits above a vanity mirror or headboard where a taller fixture would crowd the wall. Center it on the mirror or bed rather than hanging it at typical side-sconce height. Mounted in pairs, it also works well along a hallway or on either side of a painting.
