This ceiling light pairs a shade of hand-knitted rattan with soft frills of organic cotton along its edge, all carried on a metal fitting. The open weave lets light escape as dappled pattern across the ceiling and walls while also spilling downward through the base, giving a room a gentle ambient glow. Since each shade is knitted by hand, small variations in the weave are part of its character.
The natural cane color settles in easily beside linen, oak, terracotta and plaster. Paired with a warm white bulb around 2700K, the rattan takes on a honey-gold tone and the shadows stay soft; cooler bulbs tend to make the cane read gray. Treat it as mood lighting, and plan separate task light over a desk or kitchen island.

- 60 cm: larger tables or the center of a living room
- Above a table, position the lower edge 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") over the surface
- With ceilings lower than about 2.5 m (8.2 ft), the semi-flush style is the better fit
Care
Turn the light off and give it time to cool before cleaning. Remove dust from the cane and cotton trim using a soft brush, or a vacuum set to low with its brush head. Avoid getting the shade wet.

- Once a custom order is confirmed and production begins, changes to dimensions cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
- Marcelina Furniture Studio is not liable for items that do not fit the intended space due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
