A glass flower opens just below the ceiling on this compact semi-flush light. The shade is shaped by hand, so each petal curve and edge differs slightly from one fixture to the next. It rests on a short stem and ceiling base of solid brass, which keeps the bloom close overhead.
Lamp light passes through the petals and spreads into the room as a soft, even ambient glow. A warm white 2700K bulb is recommended. Under warm light the glass reads gently golden against the brass, while cooler bulbs tend to make the glass look cold and the metal pale. At 30 cm across, it sits comfortably in a bedroom, hallway, landing or dining nook of up to roughly 3 × 3 m (10 × 10 ft). Along a corridor, two or more can be spaced about 2 to 2.5 m (6.5 to 8 ft) apart. Over a desk or dressing table, pair it with a task lamp.

Care
Turn the light off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning. Dust with a soft dry cloth while steadying the shade with your other hand. For a deeper clean, apply a small amount of mild glass cleaner to a damp microfiber cloth and wipe the glass, never spraying the fixture directly. Clean the brass with a soft dry cloth only, avoiding metal polish and abrasive products.
