Warm browns settle into a geometric abstract composition where simple forms are weighed carefully against one another. The vertical format draws the eye upward, and layered brushwork gives the surface a tactile quality that reads best under side light or soft daylight.
The painting is done by hand, so small differences in brush movement, color blending and texture make each canvas its own. It sits comfortably in wabi-sabi, Japandi, organic-modern and warm-minimalist interiors, and pairs naturally with wood, linen, stone and pared-back furniture. Above a sofa or console, a width of roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture below tends to look right. Painter's tape on the wall is an easy way to preview a size.
