The reflectors warm the light before it reaches the glass, and with 2700K lamps the opaline takes on a creamy tone. Cooler lamps tend to make it look chalky and blue, so warm white is recommended.
Choose the semi-flush version for ceilings around 2.4 to 2.7 m (8 to 9 ft), where you want the fixture kept close overhead. The pendant suits higher ceilings or a spot above a table; hang its lower edge 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35 in) above the surface. At 42 cm wide it sits comfortably in a room of roughly 3 x 3.5 m (10 x 11.5 ft) or over a round table of 90 to 120 cm (35 to 47 in). The light is ambient rather than directional, so pair it with task lighting over an island or desk.

Care
Turn the fixture off and allow the lamps to cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. To clean the glass more thoroughly, apply a small amount of mild glass cleaner to a damp microfiber cloth and wipe; never spray directly onto the fixture. Clean the frame with a soft dry cloth only.
