A loose, playful face emerges from a field of soft white, drawn in looping black lines that feel quick and unguarded. Tangled spirals form the eyes, a heavy horizontal bar sweeps across like a brow or the frame of glasses, and a few jagged strokes suggest a mouth and nose. The oval outline of the head drifts slightly off balance, giving the portrait a curious, thoughtful expression.
Around the figure, bold black blocks, thin vertical drips, scratches and smudges build a layered, graffiti-like surface. The strict black and white palette keeps the energy crisp and graphic, while the gestural brushwork adds warmth and humor. It suits an entryway, office or living room where a bit of wit and edge is welcome.
