Broad, flat sweeps of pale sky blue and soft cream move across this vertical canvas, cut through by bold bands of deep navy that gather along the right side. The paint sits thick and raised on the surface, and fine ridges and scraped lines left by the knife catch the light. They read like quiet grooves running down and across each stroke.
The left side opens into misty, almost washed-out patches of cream and blue. The right side builds into darker, layered blocks, giving the composition a gentle push from light to shadow. The mood is calm and cool, with enough contrast in the navy passages to hold attention in a living room, office or study.
