This hand-painted seascape looks down on the moment a wave meets the shore. A broad field of muted sage green gives way to a pale ivory beach, while drifts of white foam curve diagonally across the surface in thick, raised paint. The foam stands up from the canvas with irregular edges, so the piece shifts in character as daylight moves across it, and side lighting brings out the most relief.
The palette stays green and neutral rather than blue: sage, muted olive, soft moss, warm white and ivory, with quiet gray-green undertones. It reads as coastal without leaning nautical, and it sits easily with natural wood, linen, stone and pale upholstery. The vertical format suits narrow foyer walls, the space beside a dining table, or the wall above a bed or console. Because each painting is made by hand, expect small natural differences in brushwork and texture, while the composition, proportions and colors stay true to the design.
