Arches, curved forms and solid geometric blocks fit together across this hand-painted abstract, set in an earthy palette of terracotta, burnt orange, cream, beige, taupe, charcoal and black. The orange reads as a muted clay tone rather than a bright hue, so it sits comfortably alongside wood, linen and neutral walls.
The surface changes from one section to the next. Some areas are carved with fine vertical grooves, others carry thick palette-knife marks and scraped edges, and a few are smoother and more sculptural. Side light picks up every ridge. The composition draws on mid-century modern design, softened by organic shapes and small, deliberate imperfections.
