Slender arches of patinated brass fan out from a central ring, suspended on clear cables that all but disappear overhead. The effect is light and open, a ring of warm metal that seems to hover above the table. Because each arch is shaped by hand before the patina is applied, the tone and surface shift subtly from one arch to the next, and no two chandeliers look quite alike.
The lights face downward, casting a warm pool onto the surface below while a soft glow travels along the brass. At just 20.5 cm (8.1 in) tall, the fixture keeps views across the room unobstructed. The 9-light version suits a typical dining table, and the 12-light gives more output for a longer table or a larger room. The 2700K warm white is deliberate, since brass reads as rich gold in warm light and turns dull under cooler tones. In a generous space, layer in some gentle ambient light elsewhere.
