Teak or aluminium, which should I choose?

Teak ages to a silver patina and is very stable; aluminium is lighter and rust-proof when marine-finished. We match it to your terrace and maintenance appetite.

Outdoor pieces run a median of $2,860, with a typical range of $1,794 to $5,460 per piece depending on material and size.

Which materials survive Panama’s sun and humidity?

Teak, powder-coated aluminium, outdoor rope and quality synthetic rattan. For upholstery, solution-dyed olefin or acrylic, which do not fade. We avoid any hardware that is not corrosion-resistant, especially near the sea.

Does teak turn grey, and is that a problem?

It weathers to a silver-grey in sun, and it is purely cosmetic, no loss of strength. If you prefer the honey tone, clean it and apply teak sealer once a year.

Is this furniture suitable for beachfront properties?

Yes, when specified properly. For coastal properties we step the specification up: teak or aluminium, stainless hardware and acrylic fabrics. Salt air is far harder on furniture than sun.

Can it stay outside all year?

Yes, it is built to live outdoors. What extends its life most is regular cleaning and storing or covering cushions during heavy rainy season.

Do you furnish pool decks and building amenity areas?

Yes. We work on private residences as well as building common areas and hospitality projects, specified for heavy use where appropriate.
