A single white blossom opens across this square canvas, its broad petals built up in thick, raised layers that cast soft shadows of their own. Fine ridges sweep through each petal toward a small textured center, giving the flower a carved, almost porcelain look. The surface reads as much like sculpture as painting, and it changes gently as the light moves through the day.
Around the bloom, the background is laid in with horizontal knife strokes in creamy white on the left, warming to washes of sand, peach and pale ochre on the right. The palette stays quiet and soft, with the warm tones adding depth without pulling focus from the flower. It suits a calm living room, an entryway or any room styled in an organic modern spirit.
