A drum of solid brass rods, bent into a rolling wave pattern, forms the cage of this pendant. Each opening holds rows of cut and polished crystal lenses, arranged like a band of set gems around the frame. With the lamps lit, the facets scatter light into tiny bright points and cast warm glints across the brass and the ceiling above.
Because the lamps sit inside the drum, light escapes through the crystal and the spaces between the rods. The result is a glittering ambient glow rather than a focused downlight, so over a kitchen island or a desk you will want separate task lighting as well. Warm white at 2700K suits the piece best: it keeps the crystal golden against the brass, while cooler light makes the facets look icy and the metal washed out.

Care
Turn the fixture off and wait until the lamps have cooled. Clean the brass using only a soft, dry cloth, without any polish. For the crystal, use a soft cloth barely moistened with plain water, and avoid spraying any liquid directly on the pendant.
