Two tiers of translucent Spanish alabaster discs sit within round frames of solid brass, each one hand-tooled with a deep vertical bark texture. When lit, the stone's natural clouding diffuses the glow evenly, while the ridged brass picks up highlights and casts soft shadow, so metal and stone read as equally sculpted. Because every disc carries its own mineral pattern, no two look alike.
Warm light matters with alabaster. At 2700K the stone turns honey and cream, with amber and gray veining drifting through it. Cooler bulbs leave it pale and flat, so warm white is the intended setting. At 89 cm across, the fixture suits a round or square dining table of roughly 150 to 200 cm (59 to 79"), a living room near 4.5 × 5.5 m (15 × 18 ft), or an entrance hall or rotunda viewed from below. It gives ambient light, so pair it with task lighting over an island or desk.

Care
Turn the fixture off and allow the bulbs to cool before cleaning. Alabaster is soft and porous, so dust it only with a dry soft cloth or feather duster and keep water, sprays and cleaning products away from it. For the brass, a dry soft cloth is enough; avoid metal polish.
