This black rattan chandelier is built from five stacked bands. They swell to their fullest width at the middle and taper toward both the crown and the bottom, giving the drum a soft, rounded profile. It hangs on a black link chain from a matching round canopy. The open basket weave is dyed black all the way through the fiber, so you still see the grain and texture of the rattan while the overall shape reads crisp and graphic. Each band is woven individually, so expect small differences in spacing and tension from one piece to the next.
With the lamps off, it hangs as a dark sculptural form. Once lit, warm light slips through the openings and throws a woven pattern onto the ceiling. The dark fiber holds back more light than lighter rattan, which gives a quieter, more intimate glow. Treat it as ambient lighting, and add task lights if it hangs over a kitchen island where you cook. It looks especially good against white walls, pale oak, warm plaster or black window frames.

- Installation: hardwired, to be installed by an electrician. Chain length is matched to your ceiling height, including tall and double-height rooms.

- Sizing guide: the 71 cm works over round tables of roughly 100 to 130 cm (39 to 51") and in kitchens, bedrooms and entries. The 102 cm suits dining tables of 180 cm (71") or longer, living rooms and open-plan areas.
- Hanging height: leave 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") between the lowest band and a table or island. In walkways, allow at least 2.1 m (7 ft) of headroom underneath.

Remove dust with a soft, dry brush, or use a vacuum's brush attachment on the gentlest setting. Don't let moisture or cleaners touch the rattan. Intended for dry indoor rooms only.

- Once a custom order is confirmed and production begins, changes to dimensions cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
