This hand-painted landscape sets a soft mountain range beneath a wide, warm-ivory sky. The distant peaks are rendered in taupe, mushroom gray and dusty mauve, while the shoreline below gathers layers of terracotta, clay brown and pale blush. In the foreground, thick ivory palette-knife strokes suggest shallow water and light drifting across a quiet shore.
The mountains stay recognizable, but the lower half moves toward abstraction, so the raised surface of the paint does much of the storytelling. A few small warm accents in the distance give a sense of scale. The tall vertical format suits entryways, bedrooms, narrow walls and the space between windows or beside a fireplace, and the earthy palette sits easily with linen, light wood, travertine and ceramics in wabi-sabi, Japandi or organic modern rooms.
