Each panel is antiqued by hand, so the clouding and depth of silvering vary across the fixture and from one piece to another. Because the panels are offset, reflections break into soft fragments, and the fixture keeps catching daylight long after the lamps are off.
Light escapes between the panels and bounces around the room as gentle ambient glow, with a faint ripple across the ceiling. The mirror picks up the color of its light, so warm white at 2700K is recommended. At that temperature the silvering turns smoky and warm and the brass reads gold. At 20 inches across, it brings the presence of a chandelier to a bedroom, dressing room, dining room or wide hallway where the ceiling is too low for one.

Switch off the fixture and let the lamps cool first. Dust the glass and frame with a soft dry cloth. Lift marks from the mirror with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid polish on the brass.
