A slender bar of solid wood hangs low and level, with its light set into the underside so the glow falls straight down onto the surface beneath. It gives a kitchen island, a dining table or a long café or hotel counter an even wash of working light, bright enough for prep, serving and reading, while the narrow profile keeps views open across the room.
Choose walnut for a deep, warm brown that grows richer under light, or ash for a pale, even tone with a clean, straight grain. Each body is finished to show the wood, so grain and color differ a little from one pendant to the next. In an open-plan space, it works best alongside softer ambient lighting elsewhere.
