A seated figure in profile anchors this vertical canvas, her head and arms rendered as a solid black silhouette while a sweeping white dress curls around her in a broad, wave-like shape. The forms are simplified and graphic, with the body reduced to clean curves and small triangles of pale blue showing through where the arms meet the torso.
Behind her, tall blocks of orange, red, mustard, cream and black rise like loose vertical bands, giving way to cool teal and sky blue across the lower and right side of the background. The paint sits thick on the surface, with visible ridges and knife-pressed strokes that catch the light, especially in the white folds of the dress. The mix of warm color above and cool tones below gives the piece an energetic yet composed feel, well suited to a living room or entryway.
