This wall sconce draws on the carved stone ornament of ancient Persepolis, where semi-precious stones once adorned statues. A piece of polished marble is threaded onto a slender fluted brass pin, which rests within a bound brass frame. The effect is close to jewelry, a little like an earring scaled for the wall.
It reads well on its own and even better mounted in a pair, flanking a mirror, a bed or a doorway. Because marble is a natural material, the veining on each lamp is its own and will differ slightly from the photos.
