Eighteen orange glass globes cluster around a brass frame, held out on slim arms so the chandelier looks full and balanced from any angle. Each sphere is blown by hand, so the glass turns milky where it is thick and clear where it thins, and no two are quite alike. The color moves through the day, deepening as evening comes on.
The glass responds to the light inside it. Warm lamps around 2700K bring out a rich amber glow, while cooler light tends to make the orange look flat. With eighteen lamps, this fixture can light a full dining room, living room or large bedroom by itself.
