Thick sweeps of white paint dominate this vertical abstract, laid on with a palette knife in raised ridges and curled edges that catch the light. Beneath and around them, streaks of soft lavender gray, deep violet and bright orange push through, while patches of warm ochre and a few dark black marks add weight near the upper right.
A burnished gold shape near the lower center gives the composition a metallic anchor, echoed by flecks of gold along the top edge. The surface feels energetic and layered, with bold color held in check by all that creamy white. It suits an entryway or living room that can use warmth and movement.
