This hand-painted abstract waterscape reads as a low, misty shoreline held between pale sky and still water. Broad fields of ivory, cream and soft beige open up the upper canvas, while a band of camel, taupe and muted gold settles across the middle like a distant horizon. Beneath it, loose horizontal strokes and softened reflections suggest water catching the last of a warm evening light.
Up close, the surface shows its making: palette-knife marks, fine raised texture, layered washes, scraped edges and a few natural drips. From across the room it reads as calm and unified. The wide panoramic format suits long walls above a sofa, bed, fireplace or sideboard, and the warm neutral palette sits easily beside oak, walnut, travertine, linen and boucle.
