A human silhouette is reduced to interlocking geometric planes and soft curves in this abstract figurative painting. Dusty pink, warm peach and cool slate blue sit together in a quiet, balanced palette that works comfortably alongside neutral rooms while still giving the wall some color and life.
The surface is worked by hand with a palette knife, building heavy impasto ridges that rise off the canvas. Light catches the raised edges throughout the day, so the piece reads differently from across the room than it does up close.
