Seen from above, a band of warm sand meets muted sage-green water, with layers of white foam breaking across the canvas on a diagonal. The foam is built up in thick, raised paint, so each wave edge catches light and casts small shadows, especially when light comes from the side. Some passages stay heavy and sculptural while others thin out into faint traces, much as a real wave does as it slides back from the shore.
The palette leaves out the usual ocean blue in favor of sage and seafoam green, soft aqua-gray, sand beige, warm taupe, ivory and white. That keeps the coastal theme quiet and neutral, so it sits comfortably with natural wood, linen, stone and pale upholstery. The vertical format suits taller or narrower walls, such as a foyer, the space beside a sideboard, or above a bed. Because the piece is painted by hand, texture, brushwork and foam edges will vary slightly from the image, while the composition and colors stay true to it.

- Once a custom order is confirmed and production begins, changes to dimensions cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
