This linear chandelier is built around a long, low oval shade in green-finished stainless steel, suspended on two slender rods from a rectangular canopy. Its shallow profile lays a single band of color above a kitchen island or dining table without blocking the view across the room, and the green reads beautifully against pale stone, oak, walnut or white walls.
The lamps sit tucked inside the shade and aim straight down, giving a focused, even wash along the work surface while keeping the bulbs out of sight. In a large open-plan space, it works best alongside gentler ambient lighting elsewhere.
