This horizontal abstract landscape opens onto a wide stretch of water where deep cobalt and bright turquoise wash toward a pale, misty horizon. A violet and indigo sky gathers in the upper left, flecked with tiny white speckles, while a soft glow of light breaks through the silvery clouds near the center. Low, dark hills sit along both edges of the horizon, framing the open water between them.
Patches of gold leaf catch the light across the lower half, drifting like reflections on the surface and pooling in the bottom corner. The paint moves in loose, fluid pours and layered strokes, with a slightly raised, textured surface that adds depth up close. The mood is calm and luminous, with cool blues balanced by warm metallic accents.
