The frosting turns every bulb into a soft, even point of light, while the shallow 16 cm (6.3") profile keeps the fixture tucked close to the ceiling. That makes it a natural choice for living rooms, dining rooms and entryways where headroom is limited, with full clearance under ceilings from about 2.3 m (7.5 ft).
The globes cast light in all directions, washing the ceiling and filling the room with gentle ambient light. Warm white at 2700K is recommended: it gives the glass a creamy glow against the brass, where cooler light reads blue-white and dulls the metal. Over a kitchen island or desk, pair it with task lighting.
The 6-head suits a room of roughly 3.5 x 4 m (12 x 13 ft) or a table of 150 to 180 cm (59 to 71"). The longer, narrower 8-head works over rectangular tables of 180 cm (71") and up, in larger living rooms or in an entrance hall. Over a table, center the fixture and align its long side with the table.

Care
Turn off the fixture and let the bulbs cool before cleaning. Dust with a soft dry cloth, steadying each shade with your other hand. For the glass, use a damp microfiber cloth with a little mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth, never sprayed on the fixture. Clean the brass with a soft dry cloth only, avoiding metal polish and abrasives.
