Four veined white alabaster globes hang in a long, graceful arc across the ceiling, linked one to the next like beads on a strand. Each hand-carved stone sits within a solid block of machined brass finished with threaded porthole bezels, so the warm glow of the alabaster is framed by crisp metalwork.
The globes are joined by hand-wrought brass hooks wrapped in leather, and the whole chain drapes in a natural catenary curve between two milled ceiling canopies. The design draws on the myth of Ariadne's thread, which led Theseus out of the labyrinth. Integrated warm-dim LED lighting brings out the movement in the stone, making this a striking choice over a long dining table, in a living room or along a hotel corridor or entry.
