A carved alabaster shade sits on an antique brass frame in this semi-flush ceiling light. The fixture stays close to the ceiling, and the stone softens the light into an even, quiet glow that flatters the room around it.
Because alabaster is a natural stone, every shade has its own veining, tone and translucency. You may request more or less visible veining, depending on the stone available at the time. The smaller size sits comfortably in a bedroom, hallway or entry. The larger size has the presence for a dining room, living room or hotel interior.
