Thirteen lights rest within amber cast glass on an antique brass frame. Because the glass is cast, its thickness varies from piece to piece, and that unevenness gives the light a deep, honeyed warmth with real weight to it. Each glass element is finished by hand, so expect small natural variations.
Choose warm lamps around 2700K to bring out the gold in the amber. Cooler light tends to make the glass look dull and brown. The fixture is scaled for a dining table roughly 150 to 200 cm (59 to 79") long, and it also sits well in a vaulted living room or an entry hall. Over a table, hang it so the lowest glass is 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above the surface.
