This flush mount takes the familiar can light and gives it a more considered shape. A slim cylindrical shade sits on a short stem of solid brass tubing, finished with cast brass turnings that add a quiet bit of detail where the light meets the ceiling.
The shade pivots on a ball joint, tilting up to 15 degrees so you can aim the light at artwork, a reading chair or a stretch of hallway. It also mounts on vaulted ceilings, which makes it useful in rooms where a fixed downlight would point the wrong way.
