bentwood-slat-and-frosted-glass-globe-pendant
Bentwood Slat and Frosted Glass Globe Pendant

Curved bentwood slats wrap loosely around a frosted glass globe, giving this pendant an open, sculptural silhouette that feels light even at its generous size. Choose walnut veneer for a deep, rich brown or ash for a pale, airy finish. Iron fittings secure both the slats and the globe.

The single lamp sits inside the frosted glass, so its light is softened before it slips between the slats and traces gentle patterns across nearby walls and ceiling. The result is a calm ambient glow rather than a focused downlight. A warm white source at 2700K suits it best, bringing out the grain of the wood and the soft glow of the glass. Over a kitchen island, pair it with dedicated task lighting.

One pendant sits well over a round table of roughly 31 to 43 in (80 to 110 cm) or in the corner of a living room. For a long dining table or island, hang two or three in a line. Its tall, vertical form looks best where the ceiling gives it room.

Details

Materials: Bentwood slats with walnut or ash veneer, frosted glass globe, iron fittings

Finish options: Walnut, Ash

Dimensions: 18.9 in (48 cm) wide x 31.5 in (80 cm) high

Suspension: 23.6 in (60 cm) cable, adjusted at installation; overall drop about 55 in (140 cm) at full length

Cable length: Can be made longer or shorter to order

Hanging height: Over a table, set the bottom 30 to 35 in (75 to 90 cm) above the surface; at full drop this suits ceilings of about 9.5 to 10 ft (2.9 to 3 m)

Light source: One G9 lamp, warm white LED at 2700K recommended; bulb not included

Weight: About 8.8 to 13.2 lb (4 to 6 kg)

Installation: Hardwired

Care

Turn off the lamp and allow it to cool before cleaning.
