curved-brass-arm-chandelier-with-blown-glass-shades
Curved Brass Arm Chandelier with Blown Glass Shades

Each arm is bent into a soft, organic curve, polished by hand, and capped with a clear hand-blown glass shade. Because every shade is blown individually, its curve and wall thickness differ slightly from its neighbors, and the warm brass remains visible through the glass.

The lamps sit inside their shades, so the light spreads gently across the full width of the fixture and falls as an even, ambient glow over a table. At just 38 cm (15") tall, it grows wide rather than deep, which makes it a good fit for rooms with modest ceiling heights. Warm white lamps at 2700K bring out the gold in the brass and the glow in the glass; cooler light can make the metal look greenish and the glass feel cold, so we recommend staying warm.

Details

Materials: solid brass arms, hand polished; clear hand-blown glass shades

6 lights: 56 cm (22") diameter x 38 cm (15") high, about 7 kg (15 lb); suits a round or square table of roughly 90 to 120 cm (35 to 47")

8 lights: 75 cm (29.5") diameter x 38 cm (15") high; suits a table of roughly 120 to 150 cm (47 to 59")

10 lights: 93 cm (36.6") diameter x 38 cm (15") high; suits a table of roughly 150 to 190 cm (59 to 75") or a living room

14 lights: 131 cm (51.6") diameter x 38 cm (15") high, up to about 18 kg (40 lb); suits a table of 200 cm (79") or longer, or a large open room

Light source: G9 LED lamps, one per arm; 2700K warm white recommended

Suspension: 50 cm (19.7") rod as standard, for an overall drop of about 88 cm (35"); suited to ceilings of about 2.4 to 2.6 m (8 to 8.5 ft) over a dining table

Custom rod length: available to suit your ceiling height

Placement: hang the bottom 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") above a table surface; over a kitchen island, pair with task lighting

Installation: hardwired; larger sizes should be secured by an electrician to a ceiling joist or reinforced blocking

Care

Turn the fixture off and let the lamps cool first.
