Yes. The majority of our Cayman commissions are managed entirely remotely. Design presentations and reviews happen by video call. Physical samples and finishes are shipped to your primary residence — London, New York, Toronto, wherever you are based. Approvals are made in writing. Delivery and installation are coordinated with your property manager on Grand Cayman. You are not required to be on the island until you choose to be.

It means the structural specification of the furniture accounts for sustained wind loads beyond standard weather conditions, in addition to routine Caribbean exposure: UV intensity, salt air, and tropical humidity. In practice, this means marine-grade powder-coated aluminium frames, teak from certified sustainable sources, 316-grade stainless steel hardware throughout, and performance fabrics such as Sunbrella rated for sustained UV and moisture exposure. Standard showroom outdoor furniture is not built to this standard and does not last in the Cayman environment.

We produce to the same execution standard — hardwood frames, hand-tied upholstery, artisan finishing — with the significant difference that every piece is designed and specified exclusively for your home. A Minotti catalog piece is an excellent product. It is also, by definition, available to anyone. A Marcelina commission exists only in your home.

Entirely normal for Cayman. A significant proportion of Grand Cayman transactions are completed remotely, and many buyers do not visit the island during the furnishing process. We work from architectural drawings, floor plans, and photographs of the space. All decisions are made by video and email. We coordinate delivery and installation with your Cayman property manager or legal representative.

Every commission is treated as strictly confidential. We do not photograph, discuss, reference, or use images of client homes for any purpose without explicit written permission. We can execute non-disclosure agreements on request. Discretion is not a service option at this level — it is the professional standard.

10–16 weeks from approved specification to installation for most pieces. For full-residence commissions, we sequence production and delivery across zones — public rooms, then bedroom suites, then outdoor spaces — to align with your construction handover or move-in schedule. We agree the full timeline at the outset and commit to it.

Yes. We work directly from architectural drawings, interior design specifications, mood boards, and finish schedules. We can integrate seamlessly into an existing design team's workflow — providing CAD files, physical samples, and production schedules that align with the project programme. Many of our Cayman commissions involve an existing interior designer or architect.
