sculptural-wave-matte-plaster-and-brass-pendant
Sculptural Wave Matte Plaster and Brass Pendant

A sweeping wave of matte white plaster gives this pendant its sculptural presence. Suspended from brass rods and chain, the curved body catches light along its folds and lets a soft, ambient glow drift downward, so it reads as much as a sculpture as a fixture.

Plaster carries natural variation, so the curve and surface texture of each pendant differ subtly. At 73 cm across, it sits comfortably above a dining table of roughly 120 to 160 cm (47 to 63"), over a console or sideboard, in an entry hall, or in a stairwell where its profile can be appreciated from several angles. For a table, aim for 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35") between the tabletop and the lowest point of the pendant. The light is gentle rather than directional, so pair it with dedicated task lighting above an island or workspace.

Details

Material: Plaster with a soft matte white finish

Suspension: Brass rods and chain, drop adjustable to suit ceiling height

Width: 73 cm (28.7")

Height: 43.5 cm (17.1")

Weight: Approximately 5 to 8 kg (11 to 18 lb)

Lamping: E14 sockets, warm white LED at 2700K recommended

Bulbs: Not included

Dimming: Available as an option

Installation: Hardwired, to be fitted by a qualified electrician

Care

Turn the fixture off and wait for the bulbs to cool before cleaning.
