gilded-brass-leaf-sculptural-wall-sconce
Gilded Brass Leaf Sculptural Wall Sconce

A single brass leaf, forged by hand and gilded with gold leaf, rests against the wall as a quiet sculptural form. The gilding picks up light unevenly, so the surface shifts in tone and depth whether the sconce is switched on or not.

Because the gold leaf is applied by hand one sheet at a time, every piece shows its own texture, seams and warmth of color. Expect yours to differ slightly from the photographs; that variation is part of the appeal.

Choosing a Size

The 240 mm size sits well in a hallway or powder room, or as a pair on either side of a doorway. The 310 mm works on a bedroom or living room wall. The 360 mm is scaled for dining rooms, entrances and stairwells, where it can be appreciated from across the room.

Details

Material: Hand-forged brass with hand-applied gold leaf

Diameter options: 240 mm (9.4"), 310 mm (12.2"), 360 mm (14.2")

Weight: Approximately 2.5 to 3.5 kg (5.5 to 7.7 lb), depending on size

Light source: G9 bulbs, warm white 2700K

Installation: Hardwired wall mount, indoor use

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0587/1904/3646/files/gilded-brass-leaf-sculptural-wall-sconce-01.jpg?v=1791461617
