Absolutely — most of our international clients begin the process from abroad. We work from architectural plans, floor plans, or photos of the space. Physical samples are shipped to your current address so you can approve materials before anything is produced. You don't need to be in Costa Rica until delivery day.

Yes. We use FSC-certified timber as standard, responsibly sourced tropical hardwoods, and performance fabrics from certified mills. We provide full material documentation on request — useful for clients pursuing green building certifications or who simply want to know exactly what's in their home.

Guanacaste's combination — UV intensity during the dry season, coastal salt air, and the heavy rainy season — requires specific material specification. We use teak and FSC-certified hardwoods, marine-grade powder-coated aluminium, 316-grade stainless steel hardware, and Sunbrella or equivalent performance fabrics. Standard showroom outdoor furniture typically doesn't survive one full Pacific coast rainy season.

Vacation rentals in Guanacaste have specific requirements: furniture that photographs beautifully, holds up under heavy use from multiple guest rotations per year, and survives the outdoor conditions. We've furnished numerous rental properties across the coast and can advise on specification choices that balance aesthetics, durability, and the visual quality guests expect at the luxury rental tier.

Yes — and we prefer it. Indoor-outdoor flow is central to how Costa Rica homes are designed and lived in. When one studio handles the living room, dining area, and terrace together, the design holds as a single vision. The transition between inside and outside feels intentional rather than accidental.

Custom furniture takes 10–16 weeks from approved specification to delivery. For properties under construction, we work backwards from your expected handover date. Clients who start during construction — while choosing floors and finishes — consistently have a smoother experience and arrive at delivery day with fewer surprises.

The process is fully remote-friendly. We work from architectural plans, photos, or video walkthroughs. Your designer communicates by video call, email, and WhatsApp. Samples ship to your home country. The only time you need to be present is delivery day — and even that can be managed via your property manager if needed.

18 months on upholstered pieces and 3 years on solid wood and rugs from delivery date. Manufacturing defects — structural, fabric, or finish — are covered in full. For outdoor furniture, the warranty covers material performance under normal conditions when pieces have been correctly specified for the location.
